Hello All Backers,
As of right now we have been shipping out pledges everyday. As we have been going through the process we have had issues we had to resolve. The quote we received for shipping included tracking. However when we started shipping the price was twice the quote. We had to ship without a tracking number to keep within our budget. Backers should be able to go into backerkit.com to see if their pledge has been shipped. Backerkit should have generated an email, however we have had issues. Even during the process we were still shipping out daily.
For everyone in the Gulf Coast Countries, one issue we were running into was the delivery time. The average time that it would take to ship out from our office to your home was averaging 8-9 weeks due to Saudi Post. So we reached out to a partner we have in Riyadh and they are going to be helping out with fulfilling this region so you can get your cables quicker.
With the pledges we have sent out we have seen less than a .5% defect with the cable. With anything that is mass manufactured there will always be a small number that is defective. As stated in our campaign every cable is backed with a lifetime warranty.This is a commitment that we make to this product because we all believe this is the strongest and longest lasting cable on the market.
Our team has been working hard to find solutions to every new opportunity that is thrown our way. And at the end of it all we are going to deliver to each and everyone of our backers. We have learned a lot through this process and in some instances it has been exciting, humbling, and one of the best ways to not only grow as a company, but as a team. All of this was possible because of our backers.

Hey Backers,
We have all just returned from Thanksgiving and were disappointed to see so many raised issues on topics we have tried to clarify in the past, especially since today we are making one of the largest announcements since we launched.
As far as communication goes, we have been a little quiet on the comment sections but have continued to follow up with backers who messaged us. We did not want to post an update until we had received the cables in hand. If you want to use the comment section to cheer, ask a question, or just in general communicate with us, that’s fine we love hearing from our backers. However, addressing some of the rude and negative comments, is not something we will be entertaining.
The online sales issue we actually addressed earlier in the comments, based on previous concerns with backers. We have been transparent since the beginning of the campaign. This cable was not only prototyped but mass manufactured on a small scale of 1,000 units for 3 separate orders before we even went to Kickstarter. The biggest reason some projects fail ,or are deemed a scam by the backers, is some projects get to the prototyped phase, run the campaign then loose it when it comes to mass manufacturing. The stock from those initial runs were sold regionally in retail and online. This is something that we never hid and, in fact, we put it in the video. There is clearly a shot of a woman purchasing the cable from a local dealer right off the shelf at full retail price. These initial runs gave us the feedback we needed and the manufacturing process refined so we could have a successful campaign and not a failed one. Despite this, going from 1,000 units to almost 15,000 units for this project did have some delays we did not anticipate, even after doing our due diligence. The error in manufacturing earlier was consumed by the manufacturer not us. The size of the KickStarter project was almost 5,000 backers. We don’t have close to 15,000 units in stock to fulfill that order, and instead waited on this current shipment.
At the end of the day we are not even close to 90 days delay on this project shipping. Seasoned backers know this is no where near some of the most successful campaign delay issues. We wanted to update when we had concrete info and that time is upon us.
CABLES HAVE ARRIVED!
We have done 2 rounds of QA already one in the manufactures facility, and one in our own warehouse in Hong Kong, they will go through a final quick QA and start shipping immediately, and will be a priority over the Black Friday sale as we had projected. We had some minor delays with our forwarding company because of the massive amounts of shipping going through Hong Kong at this time of year and we didn’t have a secure timeline on delivery because of that. We didn’t want to update until we had more concrete timeframes which came in on Friday night through customs when the cables finally arrived in the states, and again this morning when we knew they were already on the way.

Remanufacturing Completed

Hello Backers,
We appreciate all the comments and concerns. The remanufacturing is complete and the first round of QA is done. We are now preparing for shipping to the US where we will go through a final round of QA and then we will start shipment to all of our backers. After all the delays we want to send out a quality product.
We don't want our backers to think that they are not our first priority. To insure a quality product we did 3 mass manufacturing runs before even going to Kickstarter. Being rude was never our intention. Being transparent on why the Power Series Cable is online and in select stores in our region was important to us. This is our first project on Kickstarter and we have already seen some great projects who raised a lot more than us crash and burn because of the difficulties of mass manufacturing.
We have constantly been learning throughout the process. At the end of the day there is a real person writing this update that works for a start up company that is very grateful for not only the backers, but the position to start international distribution that only Kickstarter could afford us.

Quality check

Hello All Backers,
With great Power Cables, come great responsibility. And we at i10 are taking responsibility for the delay in the shipment of your cables.
As per our last update we said were going to do a quality check of all cables before we started shipping. This process took longer than expected, but we wanted to be thorough
Every single cable works and holds up to the quality of strength, but every single cable has a misprint issue on the casing. The Micro USB cables were manufactured at 5ft in length instead of 6ft in length.
Below is a photo of the logo print issue on the cables:
To fix this issue we will have to replace the housing tip and reprint the logos. This is what's causing a delay in shipping. We are just as disappointed with this issue as all of you may be, but are working through to correct it.
For the Micro USB, our manufacturing partner is currently remaking every single cable and put it on a fast track.
For all cables to be completed its a projected 2-3 weeks.
At the end of the day we are committed to sending out a product that is nothing less in quality than what you backed.
We are extremely grateful to all of our backer for their patience in helping us get from the small area of the US that we were in and bringing us into an international light. With this growth comes learning and new obstacles. These type of issues can be expected in mass manufacturing but we are fully prepared to address and correct them. In preparation for this campaign we did 3 small manufacturing runs to address any issue that may come up. However we were not expecting this.
Thank you for being patient and understanding. We have enjoyed talking to you through messages, comments and getting your feedback. We are committed to being honest and transparent and not leaving anyone in the dark. And we are committed to getting these cables in your hands.

Manufacturing is Complete!!

Hello Everyone in Kickstarterland!
We have received word from our manufacturing parter that they have completed all cables!!
This evening they will be shipping over the cables to our offices in Lafayette, LA USA and should be arriving to us on Monday October, 19th 2015. Once they arrive we will do a quality check of the cables. This will be a two day process. After that is done we will start shipping out to YOU!!
